I am giving Franson to acquire Gagner who should become the Centre No.1 with Phoenix. His dual position will help me as I was short of RW. I am also saving some Cap space to be used for FA. I am also acquiring another 2015 1st round Supp draft in trading three Round 2 (2015 and 2016) acquired in previous trades. 2015 should be a VERY good year for the Draft (1st round :BUF-NHL: :NYI: :STL-NHL:) + Supp Draft Round 1 (:BUF-NHL: :ANA: :CAR-NHL:).

I have a crazy amount of depth at Center, and looked to cash that in for a great young defenseman. The picks worked out for both of us. I always like quantity since I normally pick later in the rounds when the studs are gone.
