The bid was $5.5 mil.  Cardinals match and sign to a $2m (2012) contract.

Is the ruling that the total contract offer must be matched as was done OR that the annual salary must be matched?

I believe this is what you boys agreed on...

"Total dollar value would also work better with RFA tagging. The total value would need to be matched but the retaining GM could choose the years."

correct me if I am wrong...
