Title: January 15th
Post by: Drew on January 06, 2011, 11:47:11 PM
January 15th is upcoming and just a friendly reminder that all players with $m(2009-10) by their name is the franchise pages need to be signed by this date or they will be released to free agency.

Also, I cannot make any claims to any players until my two week probation is up, but just wanted to know how to go about claiming a player or making trades.

Could i post a trade block which I can freely trade after the 2 weeks?

Then go to the fantrax website and find your players ranking and resign to the appropriate dollar value based on the ranking. The rankings are done by position.

All transactions are done through the transaction hub and free agents can be found on the fantrax website under the players tab. Yes you can post your trade block in the trade block section seems all good.

You are eligible to trade and transact in this league as the 2 week probation period has been lifted for a temporary period.  It will be resumed when the league enters a period of stability.  Part of the issue has been my schedule this past month...I can't wait to get back to classes TBH.  It makes it easier to manage the league.  I will let the league know when we resume the 2 week probation period.  Until then I believe the rule is lifted in the rules section...let me check.

Ya fantasy points through fantrax. Go to players and make sure to switch to view all players. Then sort by position. You then can go down the list until you find your player. I suggest either using alt + f and changing to 100 per page or searching your player normally then go down points until you find him or any other player you need. You will also have to do this for the 09-10 season and see which rank is higher. Hopefully that all makes sense.

January 15 is deadline to sign players with no contracts I thought. Extensions for players on last year can be renewed at anytime during year, right or wrong?

last year can happen all year...no contracts, which is what drew is talking about, are the players on your roster already without a contract.
