Title: Confused over Mariners / Pirates trade

I'm confused over the rejection of my recent Franchise GM trade between the Mariners and Pirates.

It seems it has been moved to the 'invalid' sections of Dynasty MLB Elite.

I can't see any rules stating that salary can't be paid for next season, in fact there are several players on rosters who are moved with salary attached, and 'cash considerations' deals.

Is there confusion between this being a Franchise GM move and Dynasty MLB Elite move?

The players involved are only FA if they are not offered deals by the Pirates.

Can anyone fill me in please - I think this deal is valid.

I accidentally moved the thread to invalid.  Chris, I would have accepted it, but it was past the January 10th deadline of giving a contract extension to a player who is a free agent.
