Jorge,

You have won the bid, but even though your roster is only at 39 players, you must still release enough salary to make room for Vitters $1m signing bonus.  The Marlins are currently $500k under the cap.

So I have to release 2 players, correct? If so, i want to release Brett Hayes and Graham Taylor.

Yes, you may release two prospects without any hit to your cap to make room for Vitters.   This move is official.
