There's only 4 weeks left in the regular season, YEAH ONLY 4 weeks, and the playoff races are red hot and lots left to decide! :disco: :disco: :disco:
The West is STILL WIDE OPEN in terms of playoff spots.
The Eastern Conference playoff race is super tight.
I'm following this playoff format
(Match-up 1) #1 Placing Division Winner VS Wildcard team with lowest reg. season placement
(Match-up 2) #2 Ranked Division Winner VS Wildcard team with 2nd lowest reg. season rank
(Match-up 3) #2 Ranked team Division X VS #3 Ranked team Division X
(Match-up 4) #2 Ranked team Division Y VS #3 Ranked team Division Y
WESTERN CONFERENCE
1. :STL-NHL: #1 Central Div VS 8. :COL-NHL: #2 Wildcard
2. :ANA: #1 Pacific Div VS 7. :CHI-NHL: #1 Wildcard (WTF! I'm a Wildcard!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!)
3. :MIN-NHL: #2 Central VS 4. :WIN: #3 Central
5. :SJ: #2 Pacific VS 6. :LAK: #3 Pacific
> Other Wildcard Teams in the hunt (in order by record): :DAL-NHL: :NAS: :CLG: :PHO: :VAN: :EDM:
EASTERN CONFERENCE
1. :OTT: #1 Atlantic Div VS 8. :TOR-NHL: #2 Wildcard
2. :NYI: #1 Metropolitan Div VS 7. :BOS-NHL: #1 Wildcard
3. :FLO: #2 Atlantic VS 4. :DET-NHL: #3 Atlantic
5. :NYR: #2 Metropolitan VS 6. :CLS: #3 Metropolitan
> Other Wildcard Teams in the hunt (in order): :PHI-NHL: :MON-NHL: :WAS-NHL3: :CAR-NHL: :TBL: :PIT-NHL: :NJD: :BUF-NHL3:

More info I've tracked down for the playoff setup:
"The 4 winners of those Round 1 series will face each other for the Division Championship.
The 2 Division Play-off Champions will then compete for the Conference Championship.
The Conference Champions earn the right to battle for the Stanley Cup."

So let's say my Sens can defeat the Leafs in the match up above, my team would then go on to face the winner of the Florida vs Detroit Atlantic Division match?
Is that right?

Not bad for an unmanned franchise!
