Just a friendly reminder. Trading also doesn't close for the extension period but free agency does.

Free Agency Closed - January 26th, 2014 @ 11:59pm

Extension Period 1 Begins - January 27th, 2014 @ 12:00am

Extension Period 1 End - February 3rd, 2014 @ 11:59pm

Free Agency Re-opened - February 4th, 2014 @ 12:00am

Trade Deadline - February 10th, 2014 @ 8:00pm

Free Agency Ends - February 11th, 2014 @ 10:00pm

I hope some of my guys stand pat, they will be getting a nice decrease in salary next year!!

Yeah I have some guys that are locks to come down.  Ovechkin for sure.  Malkin's contract is going to be crazy low as well due to injuries.  Always an exciting time!
