I veto this deal.

Motte is an RP and one that might not come back from is injury.

Villanueva and McCallister is not near enough for BB

This trade has been sitting on the boards for two weeks now and with FA approaching this needs to be resolved. 6 of the 7 TC members have voted. Daniel has the deciding vote on this trade. I have sent him a PM asking for his vote within the next 48 hours. If Daniel doesn't respond I will vote on the trade and then will search for a replacement for Daniel on the TC.

I thought trades were invalidated after 2 vetoes, and this one received 3 vetoes.

The Current FGM Staff lists the members of the TC and says the following.

Trade Committee - If zero to one TC members are involved then trade must receive four approvals.  If two TC members are involved then trade must receive three approvals.

Their are currently 7 members of the TC so a trade can get 3 Vetoes and still get four approvals and pass.

I'm not sure any trade should pass with 3 vetoes.

Daniel has not responded to my PM's to vote on this trade. I will be replacing him on the TC.

Since Daniel is MIA and this trade needs to be finalize I will vote in his place.

I  :veto: this deal. The freed up cap space is plus for Cincinnati but with how crazy FA can get I don't see them being able to do much with the extra space. Villanueva and McCallister don't provide enough value heading back to Cincinnati in this deal.

I believe that the TC might have expanded from 5 to 7 to include alternate members in the case of absence, but the rules were never changed to reflect the increase in size.

Under the "old" rules when the TC was 5, more than 1 veto effectively invalidated a trade, because it could not mathematically receive 4 votes.

I suggest we resolve this issue, because there might be some members of the league uncomfortable with a simple majority determining whether trades will be approved.

I reached out to and he confirmed the TC was 5 members at one point in time.

I have changed the TC voting to be the following:

Trade Committee - If zero to one TC members are involved then trade must receive five approvals.  If two TC members are involved then trade must receive four approvals.
