Montreal trades
Cory Schneider, $2.0m (2013-14)
David Desharnais, $2.5m (2013-14)
Luca Sbisa, $2.6m (2013-14)
to Chicago for
Joey MacDonald, $1.6m (2013-14)
Francois Beauchemin, $1.9m (2013-14)
*Carl Halegin, $3.2m (2015-16) (in minors)
Obviously I do this trade to get Schnieder. Not happy losing Beauchemin and I hate taking the cap hits with Desharnais and Sbisa.
but..... you do what you have to.
Thanks for the trade zeus. :toast:

Well boys Im sorry but this is a no for me...Unlese ive missed something Joey hasnt gotten the #1 spot and this is not enough for Cory anyways...maybe others feel different but its a no for me

Was waiting for Zeus to confirm the deal...
This deal is terrible. MacDonald is old and not a starter. Hagelin is the best piece and his contract is terrible even if he is in the minors. Beauchemin is a decent dman, but is old and only scores .5 points per game. He isn't a top 20 dman in the game. All this for Schneider who is probably the hottest young goalie name in the game. :puke:
Big time :veto:

we will rework the deal somehow.

Feaster brought back veteran backup Joey MacDonald, a waiver claim last season, and signed former Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Karri Ramo, who is back in the NHL after playing four seasons in Russia, during which his goals-against average never was higher than 2.11. At 27, he's earned an invitation to Finland's Olympic orientation camp and knows there's a job waiting to be won in Calgary. The Flames think he can do it -- they gave him a two-year deal worth $5.8 million.

I have decided not to rework this deal. So I am pulling out.
It was a deal that I could not say no to and I'm sure you all would have done the same.
Anyways....... I guess Schneider might still on the block.

Totally agree with u Tony, I would have done it too, and I know why and see why Zeus wanted to do it, just couldnt pass it for me :)

A big fat no from me too. Tony, the man with a million goalies, is not giving up enough for ANOTHER netminder.

Yes the deal is already pulled off the table.
