LW - Chris Kunitz, $3.7m (2011-2012) ... plays for the offensive-minded pens! wait until crosby returns, tonight!
FLA - Round 4 - 2012 ... helps re-stock their farm
to florida
LW - Chad LaRose, $3.4m (2013-2014) ... he's overpriced but will offset kunitz
D - Greg Zanon, $1.9m (2011-2012) ... i'll eat his salary and buy out so he's off ANH books (BUYOUT @ $1.3m 2011-12)
minor leaguer RW - Kyle Palmieri, N/C, (10 Games) ... i need a homegrown RW and kyle might be ready by jan.1
low-down: ducks wanted an offensive player and kunitz is above avg on an offensive-minded pens team. he also likes to hit anything that moves which is great in this league.
i wanted to add an NHL-ready RW minor leaguer and palmieri could help out sometime this season. LW larose off-sets the loss of kunitz while zanon is an immediate buyout candidate for my panthers and we have the cap space to eat the ducks' unwanted player.
