Trade: New Orleans Pelicans/Denver Nuggets

The Pelicans and Nuggets have agreed on the following trade.  The Pelicans do this to acquire one of the new real life Pelicans in Ball and he fits the current BoD Pelicans with this playing style.  We take on some cap, but we have the room to do that and Ball is paid in 2019.  Nuggets to confirm. Nuggets confirms the trade!

I'm honestly ready to get off Lonzo's wild ride, and the whole irl Pelicans situation presented a nice opportunity to move some contracts and pick up a late first rounder.

  Solid deal for both. Ball is a wildcard but still plenty of upside even though no one knows what happens in New Orleans

Nice trade. Nice cap savings for DEN heading into this loaded RFA/FA draft class. And with the 40% reduction, that 1st round draftee will have a reasonable contract so that's also a cap bonus.

Ball could be good with a fresh start and out of the light of LA. If he ever finds a jump shot and can have even average percentages, he'll be fantasy gold with all the other stats he brings.
