Title: Angels/Rangers Trade

Angels trade

1B/3B Hunter Dozier      500K (arb thru 2023)
P Nick Wittgren             545K (arb thru 2021)
P Thomas Pannone        PC

Rangers trade

LF Adam Duvall             600K (arb thru 2020)
Jordan Groshans           PC
Rogelio Armenteros       PC


Angels approve. I had decent depth at CI yet nobody to play LF so even though Duvall will likely get less playing time than Dozier and is under control for three fewer years he fits my needs better right now. Getting Groshans is key as he is essentially what Dozier was a few years ago but with still all the risk/reward of a young prospect. I don't like the Pannone for Armenteros swap as Pannone is closer to being in the MLB rotation and already showed he can be a mid/back rotation type last year while in bigs but its the cost of a deal. Wittgren is easier to lose since I recently signed a couple other RPs.

Texas confirms, like the Angels, I needed a position filled terribly,  and Dozier is exactly who I was needing. This trade filled both teams needs, and swapped some young talent on top it. Pitching has been a struggle for me in this league,  and Pannone is someone I hope can really help out soon. Wittgren also gives a quality arm in the pen to work with. Thanks Maydab, much appreciated!
