Lakers/Spurs trade
« on: February 09, 2020, 02:11:11 AM »
Lakers receive:

Spencer Dinwiddie $1.5m (2019)
Terry Rozier $7.5m (2022- $2.0m paid in 2019)

Spurs receive:

Tyler Herro: $1.9m (2022)
Kyle Kuzma: $2.4m (2020)

Lakers confirm. Originally I was content to buy time til next year, but my pride has gotten to me. In an effort to make a run this season, I'm giving up some youth to acquire some solid contributors in Dinwiddie and Rozier. Sad that Dinwiddie is expiring, but hopefully his contributions this season will make up for that. Thanks to Spurs for the easy negotiation!

Spurs confirm!

I love Dinwiddie and with de injurys of Irving he's still going to have a great season.
For Rozier I expected more. He is having a very good season but I have a lot of guards plus Wall the next year and I don't feel I have good chances to the championship this year so I use him yo get some younglins.

I love Herro. With Spoelstra I'm sure he will continue to develop and become something great in the future. And Kuzma is another young that I like. Now he is having a rough time but he has the skills.

Thanks to LA for the proposal and easy negotiation!

Love this for the Spurs long-term if Kuz gets traded in real life in the summer, but I also see BKN shutting down Irving this year so Dinwiddie will get some nice run.

Trade all good.

Let us know what rosters. They'll just be swapped onto Active rosters shortly if no other designation is said (assuming that anyways but never know).

None are in action tonight so not a big deal.

  • indiansnation: Giants To Sign Blake Snell March 18th, 2024 at 8:45pm CST • By Anthony Franco 8:45pm: Snell receives a $15MM salary for the upcoming season and has a $17MM signing bonus that will not be paid until 2026, reports Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle (on X). That indicates he’ll be deciding on whether to opt out of a $30MM salary next winter, although the delayed date on the payment of the bonus reduces the team’s short-term commitment.  8:23pm: Blake Snell is in agreement with the Giants on a two-year, $62MM contract that allows him to opt out after the upcoming season, reports Jon Heyman of the New York Post (X link). San Francisco adds the defending NL Cy Young winner to the top of a staff that also includes last year’s runner-up, Logan Webb.  ADVERTISEMENT
