Hawks/Knicks deal

Hawks receive:
12th overall pick 2019

Knicks receive:
Jordan Clarkson 7(2021)
6th overall pick 2019

Knicks make this deal to take advantage of some of my cap space while moving up in the first round.  Clarkson is a solid scorer and should step into my mostly vacant roster well.  Good luck to the Hawks!

hawks agree i move some cap in clarkson and and move down in the draft to get it done

 :iatp: cap is valuable so no issue here, but clarkson should still be solid and not that bad of a contract

Nice move by the Knicks. I think Clarkson is decent value for $7m per year, but ATL is up against the cap.

This is the time for those who definitely don’t plan to return to say so that way we know ahead of time we have to find replacements. Nobody is pressuring you, it’s more of a courtesy to the LM who do this for nothing so they can make a game plan for next season.
