Tough break for the wings, losing their captain and leader Hank.  He ended up with 960 career points, which puts him in the top 100 in history. He was drafted the same year as one of the biggest busts to ever go #1 in Stefan, and its not very ofter the best player in the draft was available at 210.  A great career and a great guy. Looks like LTIR is where he goes, but the end is here for his hockey days.

Zetterberg was a wizard on the ice. He unfortunately got overshadowed by Dats. Going to miss watching Zetterberg in a Wings uni.

I'm sure going to miss watching him out there. He was a great player and an even better leader. I'm glad that he stopped before his back got even worse, he's a fierce competitor and I feel like Z and Hossa sometimes get unnecessary hate over their health and retirement.

Gone are the glory days of perennial contenders.
