This is an impressive turnout for a vote in a short period of time. 66.7% respond in less than a week.

Great to see everyone's active on this vote. When the owners decide to better manage finances and give the cap a chance to actually manage how teams are run instead of throwing profit back into an excuse to raise the ceiling annually, it will create a better league and a more competitive one where every game is interesting right down to the last second of the final game of the regular season.

I'll buy into this idea of the greater good for the whole of FNHL.

I'll give this a shot. Interested in seeing what happens when we do a small rollback. Honestly doubt much impact.

I don't think it should make a huge difference for 20-21, but if anyone is skating a thin line, it will impact that team. It seems like we've been going up 5m every yr for awhile, but I would of preferred a 0 increase over a decrease. I think the drastic skater extensions will play a bigger factor than a small dip in cap for 1 yr. You won't be able to keep all the players you draft, which is a big part of rebuilding a franchise for me. Maybe its just my style is to draft/develop vs. overspend in FA / a lot of trading. Its gonna be hard to overspend in FA with those skater extensions.

Looks like this is a done deal for 21/22. Also agree this will not make or break anyone and it will be good to see if FNHL can fix what the pro league have broken for decades, salary structure and the concept of a team budget.

PR voted so we're only looking for 2 more owners to speak for 3 teams to punch their ballot.

But regardless, it seems like a slam dunk in the face! 5% FNHL Cap Ceiling decrease expected for 2021-22 season.

Ultimately, given majority rule and with only 3 teams left to vote it's a Grand Slam for the "Yes" side and FNHL is set to decrease the cap by 5% in 2021-22.
