Seattle NHL franchise could get approved Tues!

The best game on the planet could be expanding again soon!

The NHL board of governors will meet Tuesday December 4th to vote. If approved, the Seattle franchise could begin play as soon as 2020. YEAH!

"Kraken" would not be a wise choice given the play on words, "The Seattle expansion franchise are Kraken under the pressure!"

Totems seems boring.
Metropolitans shortened to Metros sounds as bad as the defunct MLB Expos! What the hell is an Expo anyway?
Sockeyes is junior league stuff.

I keep hearing it's going to be a "rubber stamp" approval Tuesday when the vote happens. You have to imagine with Hollywood producer Jerry B backing the group, they're going to push hard for a 2020-21 start date! Afterall, all investors want an immediate ROI!

Good to see Seattle landing a franchise.

As for a team nickname, brother, I can totally see them screwing that up. Hopefully with Bruckheimer helping oversee things, they get steered in the right direction. BIG NO to Totems, Kraken, Sockeyes and Sasquatch.
