Had some offers out there, no one seemed interested in negotiating or was ignored. All in all I still like the direction of my teams. Building through the draft takes patience

I think there were many trades leading up to the actual deadline. Trade deadline activity even in the NHL seems to begin 1 month out in recent years.

Thats because the GMs (NHL) that have their team in the thick are making the go for it moves just as CBJ and Dallas has done. The standing are tight in the NHL playoff race. More buyers than sellers pushes the price.

There was a good amt of activity leading up to the deadline. Its well aligned with the NHL deadline which gives teams more time to decide to Buy or Sell.

I think there's going to be more excitement and activity around the Supplement and Entry Drafts. This trade deadline provided good excitement IMO with some key players changing jerseys and contenders making moves to stay ahead or get ahead.
