Rosters updated 06/15/21 and expired players showing at very bottom with salaries frozen for 2020-21 but updated to main team as extensions and and other moves posted etc (i.e. you will see players listed twice on sheet if they expired and then extended). This is only during transition phase and will be removed once we are only on 2021-22 cap.

Off season timeline as follows (subject to change if needed but believe it makes most sense for all the fun stuff to only start in August):

Thursday July 15th Deadlines >> Extended to Thursday July 22nd Deadlines


1) Buyouts and Buyout reallocation (using any remaining 2020-21 cap if you?d like)

2) IR Clean Up (i.e. unless player is still hurt and expected to miss time to start next season they should no longer be on IR)

After the 15th we are purely going to be on 2021-22 cap and sheets will be update accordingly. Until then still keep in mind for trades/extensions etc. 2021-22 is what you are working with.

Some additional admin stuff to also be completed by the 15th as well, such as updating players who reached rookie limit this past season (so will get RFA contract up until 2022-23 season). Draft order will be posted well ahead of time as well.

Friday August 6th  Deadlines >> Extended to Sunday August 8th

1)  RFA decisions

2)  Extension deadline

Up until this date you may accept real life RFA contracts (if available) plus extensions per rules. Not perfect date, but do not really want to push much later as we need to do our RFA bidding before we do draft to allow flexibility for draft pick compensation.

Monday August 9th -  RFA bidding opens

Monday August 23rd  - Entry Draft begins

Aligned to be 1 month after real draft and allow time for RFA process should picks change teams

Monday August 30th  - Regular FA opens


Captain assignment (if applicable) - Before opening day of 2021-22 season

Won't really be a factor for most teams as captaincy is 2 years, but if you did not use all 4 designation last year you are welcome to assign someone this off season.

Dizzy has requested to move his kings for LA to our expansion team in Seattle and will now be Kraken Owner.

If anyone else at any point in time would like to relocate to a vacant franchise feel free to let me know. I guess only 1 thing to clarify now is that by relocating you are still going to keep your existing captains until the expire from previous franchise but will then be able to use captain tags on new team in future periods.

For those who are already in off season mode trading/buyouts and buyout reallocation etc. can be posted anytime as some teams already posted and will be reflected with full updates coming.

Adding year 4 (23/24 Salary) to team pages but in this "transition period" part of off season we are still technically on last year's 2020-21 cap. This is mostly to allow buyouts & reallocation but for all other moves you should focus on 2021-22 season and will post in the timeline when we officially switch.
