Ok, that is fine. I thought that 3 years was the maximum amount of years I could sign him for that amount. That is what the rules say. My other salary cap leagues on ProFSL work that way. But if this league is different then I will sign him for 3 years. You might want to change the wording in the contracts section of the rules so there is no confusion.

It was pretty clear but I added the words minimum to make it easier to read.  All leagues sport different sets of rules.  I wouldn't assume that because league x does it that we do it the same here in Franchise NHL.  His annual salary dictates the years he's allowed to sign for.
