Title: DEADLINE RE-SIGN EXPIRING CONTRACTS: Aug 3, 2013 (17h ET)

Last day to resign pending Free Agents in Franchise NHL is August 3, 2013 17h00 ET.

The league is also taking scheduled break from May 12 - July 24.
From Aug 4 - 10, team contracts will be rolled over to 2013-14.

Teams can post their contract extensions between now and the deadline above.

From Aug 4-10, there will also be a transaction freeze to ensure we roll-over contracts and update team cap info for the 2013-14 season.

Also, we will extend any "abandoned" teams during this period as we would like to protect a team's assets for future owner(s).

So get your player extensions in!
