Title: DEADLINE: Extensions by AUG 3 17h ET

Last day to resign pending Free Agents in Franchise NHL is August 3, 2013 17h00 ET.

From Aug 4 - 10, team contracts will be rolled over to 2013-14 and there will be a league wide transaction freeze during this time.

Any teams that are discovered to be "abandoned" will have certain player extensions processed by the commissioners to protect the team's assets for future owners.
