Nationals trade:

Jose Abreu CI HOU $10.0 2024
:WAS: covers $8.5MM of Abreu's salary in 2023, no salary covered in 2024

Orioles trade:

Tyler Wells SP BAL $0.5 2023
Roderick Arias MI NYY prospect

In real life an Orioles/Nats trade would never happen, but in this league why not?  I've got younger and less expensive options at CI, and would like to pick up another SP for the stretch run in the hopes of making the playoffs.  Good luck @dbartlow !

Jonah Bride MI OAK P-2025

and promote:

Yosver Zulueta SP/RP TOR P-N/A

I approve this trade. The Orioles give up some depth at the pitcher postion and youth for another experienced player at a corner infield spot.
