First of all, Congratulations! — To all those who are a part of this great league: All the grizzled vets and all the newcomers—we are all part of this great fantasy experience and it is as strong as the 30 GMs who head the teams in Franchise GM.
Secondly, Congratulations to the six Division Winners and the four Wildcard teams. After 162 games, there are some things of note as the playoffs begin:
1) After winning in 2017, :SEA: returns to the fray in defense of its crown as the AL West Winner and the #1 seed in the American League;
2) The :TB: rebuild is complete, as they have gone from missing the playoffs to Division Winner and #2 Seed;
3) In the National League, the :PHI: enter the playoffs with the best overall record. Winning the NL East by 56 games with an eye on the prize, and;
4) The :SD: have finally brought their playoff drought to an end by qualifying as a Wildcard team.
Here are the playoff seedings:
American League
#1 :SEA: 129-33 AL West
#2 :TB: 120-42 AL Central
#3 :CHW: 120-42 AL East
#4 :OAK: 116-46 Wildcard #1
#5 :BAL: 108-54 Wildcard #2
National League
#1 :PHI: 142-20 NL East
#2 :COL: 125-37 NL West
#3 :CHC: 107-55 NL Central
#4 :SF: 102-60 Wildcard #1
#5 :SD: 100-62 Wildcard #2

The two Wild Card Match-ups are not filled with any sort of drama--as :OAK: and :SD: are demolishing :BAL: and :SF:. Even though there is still one day left in the Wild Card Match-ups have already been decided. So the Division Series will feature the following teams:
American League
#4 :OAK: vs, #1 :SEA:
#3 :CHW:#2 vs. :TB:
National League
#5 :SD: vs. #1 :PHI:
#3 :CHC: vs. #2 :COL:

Could we be witnessing an upset in the making? Going into the last day of the Division Series, the #1 seed, and defending FGM Champion, :SEA:, finds themselves with a 169 point deficit to the upstart :OAK:.
In the other matchups:

:PHI: is ahead of :SD: 1273-862
:TB: is in front of :CHW: 1178-944

Weekly limits of 8 SP/65 innings still in place. Each week is viewed in the same manner as the regular season. The only change is adding the points scored in each of the weeks together.
