In case you want one final review - they will be replaced with 18/19 rosters soon. No more changes can be made to 17/18 rosters.

so we cant make anymore buyouts under this year cap? Or you mean no more changes can be made after the 18/19 rosters are posted?

No more buyouts - these are final as of the end of the NHL regular season.

It's one disadvantage of being in the finals, you don't have the time everyone else has for roster management.

Now I see in the other thread you mention extensions in the "offseason" activities. My heart skipped a beat or two for a moment there.

There is an extension period now in the beginning of the offseason where teams can extend players whose contract ended at the end of 17/18. The players are still owned by you until you sign them to an extension or trade them. If you don't sign them to an extension by the time the extension deadline comes then they go to FA.

Yeah, that's how I remembered it. False alarm. Just scared the bejeezus out of myself for a moment that I had dropped the ball and would have to fire or demote myself, a la Dale Tallon.
