Title: Trade: Cubs/Blue Jays 1/26/21 9:32 pm ET
Post by: Brent on January 26, 2021, 10:24:14 PM: The Cubs and Blue Jays agree on the following trade. The Cubs do this to pick up a few specs to upgrade the farm while moving a really good MI that quals as CI and OF. I'm banking on Brujan getting a nod soon so he'll lock down one of my MI positions. Blue Jays to confirm.

Blue Jays trade:

C Quintero, Ronnier, $0.5m (P-n/a)
C Contreras, William, $0.5m (P-n/a)
OF Pages, Andy, $0.5m (P-n/a)
SP Groome, Jason, $0.5m (P-n/a)

for

Cubs trade:

MI-OF Edman, Tommy, $0.5m (P-2022)
OF Starling, Bubba, $0.5m (P-2022)

I will make a couple drops to accommodate the 2 additional players.
