I see Beer as a bit of an upgrade over Vientos. And since I'm dealing for a rebuild I'll move a reliever to upgrade a spec.

Come with me and you'll be in my world of over-analyzation. You'll see in my latest post on the trade block that I have a lot of holes to fill and I'm not thrilled with the free agent pool in our league this year. I don't see myself contending for a couple more years so it's full rebuild time. Bauer is 30 and I'm happy to move him at the height of his value for a younger pitcher in Lopez (who I am a big believer in) and a good prospect in Groshans. Amir Garrett may end up a closer this year but he may not and, as I am in a rebuild, I'll gladly move him for a decent prospect in Shewmake.

We're having a fire...sale!

I have a lot of holes to fill on this team. The state of the free agent pool in our league is sparse. I don't see a realistic path for me to contend this year. The only way I'm going to get better going forward is to trade off some assets for more and younger players in return.

Here are the big highlights:

JD Martinez

The only players I won't move on from are Adell, Skubal, Severino, and Urquidy. I'd prefer not to move on from Diaz, Manaea and Montas but would for the right deal. Everyone else must go!
