Expos in need to unload some talent, please inquire if you like any of the following players. Apparently I have more minors shooting through the Pipes than my roster and bench can handle, so will listen to offers for the following players. I hope I can pull some 2:1 deals as well. Here goes nothing:
C: ONLY one of Varsho OR Kirk will be moving

TRUE serious offers for Machado will be considered, would like an SP upgrade w/him in the deal

Due to trying to maintain youth Will Myers and Tommy Pham available and could negotiate on one or both

Adolis Garcia I like a little over the 2 above OF, is avail

Purely speaking 'True' prospects in the league I am keeping Nolan Jones, Gelof, Royce Lewis (Ok, I might be able to move him), Tony Blanco JR are the spec bats I will keep.

PITCHING
I will keep: Fried, Robbie ray, Devin Williams, Shane Bieber and Brandon Woodruff.

SP Specs
Jackson Jobe, Jack Leiter and Ryan Webb are not avilable

If you see someone or something, holler and let's see what happens.

This is ideally what Montreal would like starters and some Minors to look like. We are working on cutting cap and players to get legal ASAP

C- Bart
1B- Vlad Jr
2B- Lowe
3B- Machado
SS- Witt Jr
OF- Solak, Trout (TBD), Garcia    *Controlling for fact that OF contains expensive players currently
UT- Bichette

SP- Bieber, Woodruff, Javier
RP- D. Williams, Romano, TBD (rn)
P- Plesac, Garcia, Marquez

Minors- Dalbec, Gelof, Lewis, Blanco, (Possibly Varsho- Depends), Ryan Webb, SWR

Note: This does NOT mean these players cannot be dealt, but trying to envision a nice and stout legal lineup w/room for swap in/outs and deals.

Get Em Berore They Spike in FA
« Reply #106 on: April 25, 2022, 04:57:45 PM »
In an Effort to Cut Cap and Gain roster flexibility, the Expos are posting the following players OTB before they hit FA and see inflated prices:

1B Myers, Wil $0.5m (2022)

SS-3B India, Jonathan $0.5m (P-2024) Gonna need to likely move 1 or more MIs ahead of next season

2B,SS Taylor, Chris $1.1m (2024) Cheaper but same boat as India

OF Pham, Tommy $0.5m (2022) Honestly may not fit team direction

OF Naquin, Tyler $1.1m (2023) Not opposed to keeping, but won't sell too cheap

SP DeSclafani, Anthony $1.1m (2023) Certain prospects coming through the pipes make his place very tenuous on team

SP Eovaldi, Nathan 5/30 $9.0m (2023) Won in FA, not terribly attached to. See DeSclafani above for place on roster

PROSPECTS

SS Lewis, Royce $0.5m (P-n/a) Have plethora of young MIF players. Will not be terribly cheap, but still possible.

OF Bishop, Hunter $0.5m (P-n/a) Taken a little longer than expected to develop. Available. Younger teams may chance him

OF Bleday, JJ $0.5m (P-n/a) Like the power potential, will BA and other batting stats catchup?

SP Pearson, Nate $0.5m (P-n/a) For risk takers and believers, see me
