Habs agree. We got approached by the Wings about Morgan's availability. If we had known that Wundermaan was a Rielly fan, we would've asked for a 1st as well. We felt it was fair compensation to move Rielly who's only 26yo and about the hit the prime of his career with a core of Buds around him to rack up huge points across the board. GL to Wundermaan and his Wings.

Nice trade! I kind of give a very slight edge to the Habs, since they will have Hughes under a low cost contract for three years. But Rielly is a real point producer in the FNHL, definitely worth his contract.

I like the Montreal side. Robertson for Reilly plus cash and elc seems pretty tasty for exp draft protection. Picks for Milr swap seems even as well. Leaves Hughes as the sweetener to grease the deal...

Gotta be honest I was shocked to see Hughes fantasy production point total was so low. Replaceable by FA low. Going in I’d have said best player in the deal but perhaps not.

I like to see the trading and Reilly’s supporting cast is amazing. Good trade

I have to agree with Antman's assessment of the deal. Quintin's 2-5 years away from reaching the status of elite defender in the NHL. Morgan's hitting that sweet spot in his career with a Leafs team on the apparent upswing.
