Title: Trade Block
Post by: Vik on July 29, 2018, 03:30:48 PM
Post as you please. I do recommend posting with contracts at least initially while everyone gets used to things.

Quick reminder, reminder straight from the rules:

Cash exchange on contract will be allowed- however, no more than 50% of total salary may be paid for but the distribution may be done so in any year. E.g. player on a 2 year 10m contract could have 5m paid each year or 10m paid 1 year (or any combination of 10m among the 2 years). Cash will follow players in future trades and if a player being dealt has 50% of his total contract paid for previously, he can not have any more money covered in future deals

Feb. 10th trade deadline will be here before you know it so I'm open to offers on most of my guys. Given my situation I am most interested in expiring contracts who will give me an upgrade rest of the this year to try and make a run.

Active:

Draymond Green   18m (2019)- 4.9m paid this year
Darren Collison    10m (2018)
Justin Holiday   4.4m (2018) - 2.2m paid
JaVale Mcgee   0.5m (2021)
Wesley Matthews   1m (2019)
Iman Shumpert   0.5m (2021)

Inactive:

Ed Davis   0.9m (2021)
Dwight Howard   5.2m (2018)
Thon Maker   3.2m (2019) - 1.6m paid this year
Tony Parker  0.5m (2021)
Bismack Biyombo  0.5m (2021)
Michael Beasley   0.5m (2021)

Dleague:

Kostas Antetokounmpo  1.2m (2021)
Edmond Sumner   0m (2018)
Furkan Korkmaz     2.5m (2019) - 1.5m paid 2019
Ryan Arcidiacono   0.9m (2021)
Georges Niang   0m (2018)

Trade deadline aproaching!

I have some players that I want to trade:

Chris Paul $24,6 (2018)
I could pay for him the difference between salaries of the trade. For example, Chris Paul $24,6 for XXX $4,6 and I'll pay $20 of Chris Paul's salary this year.
I don't ask too much because he has only this year left of the contract and I don't feel I'm gonna fight the playoffs.

J. Lin $0,5 (2021)
Gortat $0,5 (2021)
T. Prince $3,0 (2019)
S. Dinwiddie $1,5 (2019)
B. Ingram $6,5 (2019)
M. Morris $1,3 (2021)

Also I could add the next players but I will have to think about it:

DeAndre Jordan $8,4 (2020)
Bogdanovic $2,6 (2021)

Lonzo Ball $9.1m (2020)
Gary Harris $18.5m (2021)

Are the two guys I'm still trying to move before the trade deadline. I have two 2nd round picks and one 1st round pick (all in 2019) to work in with Harris for someone to take that contract off my books.

I would be comfortable moving Aldridge before Sunday's deadline in case anyone is looking to make a more solid push this season. I don't necessarily see myself re-signing him, so the 10% discount isn't as appealing to me as another team. I've also had chunks of starters at a time be injured, and in general I don't think I have the roster to make a serious push this season. So if people are interested:

Lamarcus Aldridge $12.5m (2018)

For all looking to start offseason early no reason you can't start making trades now.

I'm open to franchise tagging and trading Chris Paul or Al Horford

Can pay a little money this year and if you want either on a 3 or 4 franchise tag I don't mind some money 3rd year (Will not be paying years 2 or 4)

:POR: Still have these 2 mid tier salary players available and looking to move 1 before FA starts if there is a deal to be made (saving cap is main goal to move either).

SF/PF Otto Porter 10m 2021-22

-Injury plagued season on top of Covid stoppage but think there is still some nice upside and should be part of Chicago's future.

SF/SG Josh Jackson 7.3m 2020-21

-Signed with rebuilding Pistons team and former 4th overall pick who showed some flashes of upside with grizzlies last year. I wouldn't mind keeping seeing what happens but with the salaries I do want to move him or Porter.

My FA plan didn't go as planned as I can no longer afford the guy I wanted to fill my last spot and my fallback player already closed.

While I didn't anticipate having room I may just bid on some else, but before I do open to using my 3.4m in a trade and can offer pick(s) if the player makes sense.

Putting him on the block, but odds of moving him are very slim and have no offers it is just me considering options:

PF/SF Jerami Grant 0.5m (2020-21) and already paid this year

I liked the move to Detroit but certainly did not ancipate him going for top tier role player to legit all-star (maybe even superstar for fantasy purposes) but given I have my other top players expiring same time this coming offseason, I am willing consider moving Grant. Would probably make most sense to anyone who might want to use franchise tag as I think I am tagging 1 of my other guys instead (he is considered PF for tag purposes which is $25.6m, and currently Fantrax has him 4th at the position)

Given I am looking to win this year he is still huge part of team and the only way I move him is another star player who is under contract for at least next year and most likely need money paid next year as well.
