Habs and Rangers agree to a deal. NYR asked about the services of Phil "the Thrill" Kessel. We countered and that's that. Burkes Boys to confirm. Good luck to NYR.

:thumbsup::thumbsup::iatp: Rangers wanted to add Kessel and we feel he's going to have a big season reunited with Head Coach Rick Tocchet and playing with a bunch of speedster kids in Arizona. Can't wait to cut Phil loose in the desert.

:iatp: I like this deal for both teams but if I had to pick I'd prefer the younger Galchenyuk package to the vet Kessel who might not necessarily have a great year in the desert with the Coyotes. But good overall.

:iatp: Good trade. Kessel has a couple of big seasons left in the tank. Not sure if and how Galchenyuk will fit into the Pens system and it's odd for such a young guy to be traded so frequently after going 3rd overall only a few years back.

The scoring balances out on this trade however I would be inclined to give the edge to Montreal for getting a little younger.
