Title: Playoff Format

PLAYOFF OVERVIEW:

6 teams from East Coast and 6 teams from West Coast make the playoffs.

The division winners & 2nd seed from each Coast will receive a first round bye.

Use Tie-Breakers for final standings: YES

First Rule:  Most fantasy points for entire season

Second Rule:  Head-to-head record vs. all teams tied with

Third Rule:  Best division record for entire season

Fourth Rule:  Least fantasy points against for entire season


There will be 4 playoff rounds each season for the Wild Card 2 Baseball Playoffs.

Playoffs will start with 4 weeks left in the regular :MLB: season.


PLAYOFF FORMAT:

1:  Round 1 - The 3rd seed will play the 6th seed and 4th seed will play 5th seed in round 1. This will occur in both Divisions;

2:  Round 2 - The winner of the 3rd/6th matchup play the 1st seed. The 4th/5th seed winner will play the 2nd seed in round 2.  This will occur in both Divisions;

3: Round 3 - The winners of the Round 2 matchups will play for the Deuces Division or Jokers Division Pennant.

4:  The victors from each side will come together to compete for the Wild Card 2 Baseball World Series, with the winner being declared the WCB 2 World Series Champion who receives an actual trophy from TrophyDepot.


--Once the playoffs begin, no free agent additions will be allowed. Promotions/demotions will be allowed.
--Pitching staff limits will still be enforced.



2023 PLAYOFFS

Week 1. 3 v 6  4 v 5 (1-2 byes)

Week 2. 3/6 v 1   4/5 v 2 (both divisions)

Week 3.  3/6/2 v 4/5/1

Week 4.  WCB2 World Series
