My keepers are:

Please drop from my minors roster:
G Jake Paterson
I started with 8 filled slots, so the above brings me to 10.

Although I'm at a high risk of losing out in that Mountain West clusterf**k, I do like the concept of the 2-matchup division-weighted schedule and I'm fully onboard with it continuing.

Release (from NHL roster):
LW T.J. Galiardi, $0.2m (2014-2015) D Robert Bortuzzo, $0.2m (P-15/16) C Brooks Laich, $0m (2013-2014) D Francois Beauchemin, $0m (2013-2014)
Promote from minor league roster to NHL roster:
D Martin Marincin, $0.2m (P-15/16) -- salary becomes $0.2m; he's listed as "(P-n/a)" on my roster but I believe that's an oversight ... he's accumulated 44 NHL games played, so his clock started for a prospect contract running 2 more years through 2015/2016
LW Tanner Pearson, $0.2m (P-n/a) -- salary becomes $0.2m; he hasn't accumulated 40 NHL GP yet (I'm assuming that only regular season (fantasy season) NHL games played count)
Thanks,
-Dan

FYI, I'm heading overseas this weekend and will be away through the following weekend. I don't expect to be online much. My first full day back will be Monday 6/2.

If anyone has an interest in the extension rights for D Francois Beauchemin or C Brooks Laich, let me know.
I'm open to any offers: a swap of 2015 draft picks, a bag of used pucks, spare parts for the Kings' Zamboni ...

D Vyacheslav Voynov, $0m (P-Ext) extended at $2.7m/yr for 5 yrs (through 2018-2019)
#30 ranked D in 2013-2014, #13 ranked D in 2012-2013 salary for a #13 D is $3.8m 5-year prospect extension discount of 70% makes it $2.66m, rounding up to $2.7m

Thanks for the kind words, guys. And congrats to those expecting new additions.
Anthony -- Believe me, there have been many years when I wondered what I was doing stuck in a relationship with the Sox.

I’m stepping through this first extension methodically so you can confirm I’m applying the rules correctly.
The player I want to extend is Landeskog, who is on an expiring prospect contract: “RW Gabriel Landeskog, $0m (P-Ext)”
Landeskog is actually LW-only on Fantrax … if you could please update his position designation on my roster when you get around to processing this extension, I’d appreciate it.
Landeskog was the #6 LW in 2013-2014 and the #67 LW in 2012-2013. (To determine those rankings I did a search on Fantrax in the League’s “Players” page for the stats of all LW’s in each of the the past two regular seasons in the “Tracked” setting; I haven’t figured out what “Tracked” vs. “Scored” is, but they yielded the same rankings.)
So, normally the extension price would be the $7.1m/yr for a #6 LW (the better of the two rankings) per the contract extension prices in the rules, but I’d like to invoke the “prospect extension discount” rule for this expiring prospect contract to get a 5-year extension at 70% of the usual salary. $7.1 * .70 = $4.97, rounding to $5.
So, I’d like to extend Gabriel Landeskog for 5 years (i.e. through 2018-2019) at $5m per year.
Thanks,
-Dan

Thanks Rob. I'm very happy to join the league and looking forward to being here for years to come. It looks like I've landed right in the frying pan in that division.
To give you all a little background so I'm a little less of an anonymous person on the internet:
* I grew up and live in the Chicago area and have been a Blackhawks fan since I was a kid * I'm also a bit of a Rangers fan; I lived in NYC in the mid '90s and went to a lot of games at MSG, the highlights being the Games 1 and 7 double overtime games against the Devils in the '94 Conference Finals; experiencing the despondency in the Garden when the Devils tied it at the end of regulation in Game 7 and the joy in the Garden when (ex-Hawk) Matteau won it in 2OT was intense and amazing * I'm just a hockey fan generally -- I like to listen to the Marek vs. Wyshynski podcast on my commutes and to catch some of the better games around the league on NHL Gamecenter when I have the time * I’m married and my wife and I had twin girls in March of last year, so it's only been a couple of months since I crawled out of that 1st-year-struggle-for-survival period
Thanks again for letting me play in your sandbox. It’s going to be fun.
