Maybe we should name our divisions like the NHL.
I say pick the most tenured owner in each division as the go to name.

Jonathan's North Division
Blkhwkfn's West Division
PigsRule's Central Division
JackDnaiel's East Division

Anyone catch the "upset" in the WJC.
I bet the Canadians didn't see that one coming.

I'm thinking if everything's stable FA remains on Profsl once the season starts. Hey, the side login above the chat is finally fixed. Just used it by accident today and discovered it works.

Com'on Ant! Don't give my Habs a hard time. We haven't played one another enough times to even develop a rivalry.

Hey King, didn't know you joined another league on this site. How's it going?
King is building his fantasy hockey empire! I'm guess his strategy is "Conquer the West!"

I'm thinking PPG and PR should recruit Mordecai to the Executive Committee or something.

Mordecai's been on a roll with his recommendations all year. Mind you he might not accept given he hasn't ever officially participated on Trade Committee. Still, lots of heads up suggestions that have made plenty of sense for the betterment of FNHL. :winner:

:iatp::iatp: Thanks EndGame! Appreciate the shoutout.

But there's too much real world stuff on the go to be able to commit to the league management side of FNHL. I'm not the type to sign up and ditch when the going gets tough. If I do something, I own it 110%. With all due respect, I couldn't possibly deliver on a fraction of what PPG (and PR) do around here especially with the expansion draft next year and the moving target of the 2020-21 NHL season, I'm just trying to stay afloat. :toast:

I noticed the :SEA-NHL: Seattle Kraken :SEA-NHL: get a shot at this year's Entry Draft and got slotted in at the end of each round.
When are you guys starting interviews for the potential owner of Seattle?

nm.
Just found a recent post by PPG stating when interviews start. Oct 27th!
Looks like amongst the 6 interested groups are EndGame, Wunderman, Burke and King Boseman!

Currently, there are 5 firm offers to purchase the :SEA-NHL: Seattle Kraken expansion franchise for $185.00USD.

PM interviews with interested buyers beginning Tues Oct 27th. :judge::taco::taco:
New owner of :SEA-NHL: will be announced Oct 31st (on Fantrax and Profsl). :judge:

:MON-NHL: Habs Trade Block :MON-NHL:
Ryan Ellis, $5.0m (2018-2021) Will likely get an extension at $9 million fantasy bucks. Consistently delivers the goods!
Show me how much you want this fantasy stud muffin!

  • Daddy: If i have 10 top level AA prospects each in the top 10 of the franchise vs one middle of the road pitcher like Cal Quantrill (or pick a guy) which one of those two packages are more valuable?

  • Daddy: Also... Ive got a nice private island full of beautiful women to sell you. Pay me upfront and i will send you its coordinates. We call it the Virgin Daddy Islands. $5k reserves it for your future.

  • dbreer23: Take two to tango, though. Most owners with adequate or surplus SP aren't interested in prospects as they're trying to win now.
  • Daddy: Agreed. But most does not equal all.

  • Braves155: My issue in LIVE currently is having Strider/Alcantara/Giolito all on the long shelf, so I am more retooling than rebuilding
    Today at 02:46:48 PM
  • Daddy: Also agreed. Top quality pitching probably means not much depth. A few injuries can challenge you. Pitching other than top end pitching has been devalued in fantasy. Everyone wants the stud.

  • Braves155: But I myself could use some time on a nudie island with some hot women
    Today at 02:49:45 PM
  • Daddy: I here to tell you that ALL major league pitching is good pitching. A great hitter beats a terrible pitcher just 3 out of 10 times. Which means the worst pitchers > the greatest hitters.

  • Brent: Greg Maddux had the best outlook.  He viewed himself as tye dealer/house and you had to beat him.  Just like in the casino, the house nearly always wins.
  • Brent: He had that view b/c of his father who was a blackjack dealer in Vegas.
  • Daddy: Yes @Brent!! That is it exactly. Pitching is the house & it always wins in the end.
  • Daddy: There shouldn't be many innings available in FA in dynasty fantasy leagues IMO. Thats guaranteed money! To hell with High A ball.
  • Daddy: Until someone starts a minor league baseball fantasy game or option. Maybe we can petition fantrax? I just dont think they will care for that.
  • Daddy: Neither should we (so much). Every league i see is MLB.

  • Braves155: The problem with the minors is not the system as a whole, it is some Farm Systems are more 'elite' at being able to produce talent than others. If you look across MLB teams you can pretty easily tell the great systems from the weaker systems and talent development
    Today at 05:57:14 PM
  • Braves155: With regard to pitching in the Minors...there is  method to the madness. It is all about what you make of it tho. I agree that it can seem certain type arms in the minors are a dime a dozen
