My point was 1 team wins money, so there is no advantage. Its not like you get money b/c you win the first matchup. This isn't a Corey league, where everyone gets a payout for showing up.

The NHL Playoff format is dumb as dog Crap. They will change it soon enough (I hope). It rewards a bad division for being bad ensuring that 1 team advances when maybe they didn't deserve too.

2 should play 3 in the oppo division if anything. The 2-3 divisional matchup is the stupidest format in sports history. I'm glad other sports don't use it.

I love hockey, & FNHL is a great league. Winner take all is ok by me, the playoff format is doo doo.

I disagree, Its all about weekly matchups in fantasy playoffs, catch the wrong team on the wrong week & even the mighty will fall.

1 team will survive but the cupcakes never had a chance.

Thinking of the teams that put a scare into my boys this coming playoff season, in no particular order

Boston will be keeping an eye on these guys

LA Kings lots of talent and two-headed monster in net with Quick and Luongo

Detroit Red Wings always in the mix. If they get Jake Allen back which should be soon Eastern teams will be in tough. Lots of big scorers on that roster. Will probably be able to keep the core group intact for next yr.

St.Louis Blues flexing their guns of late just in time. Highend talent at all positions.

Colorado Avalanche so much young talent they are going to be good for a while. But can Cory get them through the early rounds.

Nashville Predators have lots of goaltending to lean on and strong forwards.

Pittsburgh Penguins Solid all around and if MAF stays focused will carry the Pens deep.

Montreal Canadiensvhate them but theyve been steady all yr. I am sure Helly will get the callback soon enough. Good mix of vets abd young guns.

Anaheim Ducks have strong management and well rounded roster top to bottom. If Scrievens gets more starts the Ducks will be hard to knock out of the playoffs.

Tampa Bay Lightning are perhaps the scariest team I want to avoid. Lots of goaltending and a surprising group of skaters who have been posting big numbers in the second half. Dont buy what Daddy is trying to sell you. His team is ready to challenge for the Cup now!
