Dates subject to change but only if there is a good reason (feel free to PM). Ideally I would like to stick with below.
Deadline to Buy-Out a Player Using 2019-20 Cap:
Tuesday July 22nd 11:59pm PST (2:59am EST)
Roster roll will be done to only show relevant details for 2021-22 and onward after this date. You are welcome to start trading and making moves anytime just keep in mind 2021-22 is cap you are working with, but as we allow every off season keeping books open for buyouts until after real life playoffs are complete.
Deadline to Decide on Restricted Free Agents:
Friday August 6th 11:59pm PST (2:59am EST) > Extended to Sunday August 8th 11:59pm PST (2:59am EST)
Updated RFA list with current real life contract options available.
2021 RFA Bidding Opens:
Monday August 9th 8:00am EST (5:00am PST)
2021 Rookie Draft Begins:
Monday August 23rd 8:00am EST (5:00am PST)
As usual draft has to come after RFA to allow for possible pick movement. Draft order will also be posted well in advance.
Deadlines on Franchise Tag and Player Option Decisions:
Sunday August 29th 11:59pm PST (2:59am EST)
Player Options: Reminder player options are those in yellow if you do not specify anything they will automatically be picked up.
Franchise Tag: 2nd tag passed you have option up to 2 if your team/players qualify per rules:
