makes this trade to push for a title in 2022.  We were very close, without Trout for most of the year in 2021 and have a few small holes to fill to make the team better.  I think Quantrill and Cooper fill gaps and make me a better team for sure.  I'm giving up a bit more in prospect capital than I'd like to have, but when you're geared to play for a championship, you make a deal like this and try to fill the farm back up as you go. The Braves need a major youth overhaul, and string by acquiring 2 top prospects at their respective positions (Cartaya Grissom) will help the rebuild. At the price Chih-Jung Liu was worth a flier and hoping he pans out. It will take a while, but with patience and targeting the right youngsters the Braves should be on their way to rebuilding itself.
