Red's Get:

OF Lazaro Armenteros spec
SP Jake Walters spec

Braves Get:

3B Drew Ward spec
RP Melvin Adon spec
1B Luken Baker spec


I'm giving up the better prospect here in Armenteros because I need the depth for my team. I'm taking a risk here but I'm hoping the Nationals swing and miss on Rendon and Donaldson and give Drew Ward a chance at the hot corner. If he can be a 2nd division regular then I'm a happy man. Baker is talented but blocked and Adon has an insane arm but still harnessing his control. If I can hit on one of the 3 then I'm happy with the deal.

Reds agree im  am a fan of Armenteros but the bigger part of this trade is getting walters p from miami. Yes this kid is only in single a but if he can do what he did moveing up in minors this kid could be the steal for me in this trade. I see him in near future being a 1 or 2 starting pitcher.
