I would be willing to input the schedule for the league.

Shooter the schedule is the same as Moneyball. The first 7 weeks are posted on the MB board as Im sure you already know. I will give you commish in fantrax.

Thanks a ton

Power rankings were done by Colby and I in previous seasons and as it stands right now neither he nor I has the time to do this. Time was also the reason I left the Commish role.

The board is open for anyone to add content to. It always has been. It shouldn't be reliant on the work of the few when we have 30 people in this league. I realize that norms were established, but many of the things that were done were to elicit interaction among everyone in the league. Part of this was trying to mix up the members of the TC and RC.

I also agree with Chris's (Padres) post, that this season has been lacking in, what would amount to, fun.

I submitted my resignation to Roy a week ago. I am no longer part of the league. People who are complaining: please step up and help initiate some activity.

I am willing to do anything to keep this league active. I will look into doing power rankings for next week

Thanks Freddy.  We need some others to step up for the activity of this league.

Power rankings were done by Colby and I in previous seasons and as it stands right now neither he nor I has the time to do this. Time was also the reason I left the Commish role.

I will admit I spread myself thin with other leagues, but recent changes have pretty much left me as someone who no longer updates any official rosters, doesn't process transactions, and does not post power rankings in any league.  I am attached to many leagues to help keep their finances and staffing organizing, but aside from that, my time is best committed to ProFSL as a whole.

The board is open for anyone to add content to. It always has been. It shouldn't be reliant on the work of the few when we have 30 people in this league. I realize that norms were established, but many of the things that were done were to elicit interaction among everyone in the league. Part of this was trying to mix up the members of the TC and RC.

:iatp:

I think we need fresh blood in the EC and fun thread departments from existing GMs to push FGM back to the top.

I also agree with Chris's (Padres) post, that this season has been lacking in, what would amount to, fun.

However, FGM is still one of the most active leagues as the reports indicate.  We just need a few others to help lead the next generation of this great league.

The transitions have been a part of the problem.  Another part is definitely stepping up to fill in.  Colby, you must have had a sheet for power rankings, or a system to it, if you have anything of this nature I would be more than willing to provide power rankings.  I think I have always tried to be on the right side of adding user content when appropriate.

My main gripe was the schedule and I am thrilled that shooter has volunteered to take over this project.  I agree some increased activity on the part of the gm's is essential.  Direction by management is the other side of that same coin.  I just wanted to use this platform to raise the awareness that this league relies on active participants.  The power rankings are fun but they are work and so we together have to figure out how to get it done.

The attached document is what I have used in the past.  Everything with a light yellow background and blue text is input.  It allow a copy and paste from the overall standings section of Fantrax to be pasted.

Before proceeding to the next week,
1) Copy column P and paste special value into column U
2) Do the same thing with column L values into column T
3) Now you can dump the Fantrax standings into the left hand columns
4) Only thing left to edit is comments (column Q) and the new power rankings (column O).  Useful info such as fantasy points per week is calculated in column N.
5) Now, use the filters to sort column O in ascending order
6) Copy cells T3:T32 and paste them into a post here at the board... everything should be nicely formatted
