Welcome to a great hockey league. You bought yourself a solid franchise.
I guess it's true, Good things come to those who wait! And man have I been waiting. Happy to be here.

I'm glad to have a horse in the race. GL to all the teams in the playoffs, except when of you who play my Hurricanes. GO CANES!

I have seen many teams fudge their season in money leagues. Ultimately if a paying member wants to waste an entire 7 month season as part of their rebuilding strategy, then more power to them. Personally I don't have the stomach for such long drawn out rebuilds in fantasy hockey or real life NHL teams like the Oilers and Sabres.

Thanks guys. I'm just glad this is a trading league and teams were interested in getting deals done quickly on deadline day. Nothing worse than getting a team and feeling like it still belongs to the other guy.
Been in fantasy hockey for close to 20 years. Seen to rise and fall of sites like sportsline and yahoo. ESPN had a decent fantasy set-up but the guys there weren't all that competitive. Started with Roto then got tired of it and focused on H2H. Have been searching for a good salary cap league and found one but it folded after three seasons.
I'm a guy who likes drafts, prospects, hockey overall with no real fav team though the Atlanta Thrashers were of interest because an exGF worked for them and went to lots of games but that was a while back.
Overall glad to be here. Hope to make my Carolina franchise a Championship team.

Thanks guys. I really like the way this league is setup. Glad to get a shot at building a team. Really hope I'm not messing up my team which was already doing really well but I've been around fantasy long enough to know what works and what doesn't.

The NHL salary cap has been set at $81.5 million for the 2019-20 season according to NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman.
Therefore the FNHL cap ceiling will be set at $81.5m with a cap floor of $60.2m
So this league always follows the NHL's salary cap floor and ceiling annually, correct?

Glad to be here. Thanks for having me. Heard a lot about this cap league and been looking to join for some time. Hope I can keep up the good work the last owner did. Cheers.
