But those results included Supplemental draft picks that weren't prospects. I kinda think the active NHLers should have been excluded.
I think it would be interesting to track just the supplemental draft results and not have the contraction draft included. Also I think it would be interesting to see the results split up based on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd rounds along with average points per pick. Some teams (Florida, Buffalo, etc.) have loaded up on draft picks in a few of the drafts which makes the overall totals hard to compare. Average points per pick and by round seem like a good way to judge how well a person has used there picks.
