Daddy likes sloppy seconds
I'm Just playing hockey.

And I'm tired of being insulted.
I'm fed up with smart ass personal comments.

Being called a whiner for asking for a vote.
Insuations of colluding or not being moral about my trades.
Or any other cute little slights, like this one.

I voice opinions, concerns, and speak my mind, I rarely if ever publically question how people run their team's or even comment.

Now would be a good time to back off Daddy, unless it's a trade offer.

I like this league, a few of you are Fricking that up for me.

Man Idk? Right now I'm totally confused.

I thought Sharks had a violation but had 24 hours to post a transaction to address it and did that here...
http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=309773.msg1285313#new

Then I also thought after 48 hours all trades were legalized anyway. This trade is 4 days old...
http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=309773.msg1285313#new

Also, I thought if a team was over the cap or roster limit, but agreed to and posted a trade, that it was on them as a GM. That if the trade was voted approved it processed, whatever numbers violation whether cap or roster related they still had 24/48 hours to post a transaction(s) to legalize the situation.

I don't know what's going on anymore, I'm posting buyouts and FA's based off of the rules as I read and interpret them. it's frustrating.

Now I'm about to get another FA, and maybe be in violations myself, over another GMs errors? Or so it seems...

There was a transaction freeze so transactions have been legal for less than 2 days.

That's what happens when you play with fire.

You guys are at the roster max and SJ has crossed the line several times and needs to get compliant but your trading with them so one of you if not both will get burned and we've all got our popcorn ready when it happens. :-)

Trades i.e. votes etc...were not subject to the freeze, now they are? According to how I understand the process to be the trade should have went final Oct 6 after the freeze was lifted. Even by your logic Oct 8.

I'm glad it's entertaining.

For me it's frustrating, either the rules aren't clear or they aren't enforced correctly all the time? If Sharks post within 48 hours a tranny that fixes a violation he is good right?

He could make a trade and have 45 players and release 15 couldnt he?

Dude funny or not, fire or not, it's very confusing.

Sharks are over cap + roster limit.

They have won a FA further putting them over the limit in cap + roster max.

Not sure why you think its about you Daddy. Its about basic rules.

I don't think it's about me at all. I typed up those long novels believing I was explaining confusion to the rules pretty well.

I give up, close the thread.

Thanks

Reminds me of the time Tallon forgot to submit qualifying offers to a bunch of his RFA Hawks and ended up having to pay them FA type money to retain guys like Crawford, Versteeg and Brouwer.

Sometimes people lose track of things when they're busy and that's when the fines and penalties come into effect.

But Daddy was apparently watching all the rule breakers so he must've known the deals with the Sharks were going to hit a brick wall. I don't completely see why Daddy would be upset or confused if he was as he said following the action.

Daddy I've only been loosely following this but it looks like you're kinda caught in the middle on this. The bottom line is Indians Nation needs to do a better job managing his roster. All he has to do is get compliant and the trade can be re ran.

Brian I'm going to say this with peace and love but it might be easier to just sell one of those teams and concentrate on building one into the contender I know you will. There's no way I could build two teams at once and keep track of everything. Just something to consider

I personally like running 2 teams. It allows me to try different strategies. It takes a lot of time and organizations for sure. They say you can only do 1 thing 100% and I've noticed from other leagues that does hold some value. Fantasy is surely a time consuming hobby.

I was just caught off guard because I thought a deal was a deal if approved.

If a GM was over the roster limit following completion of a deal, it wouldn't be the first time. I thought they would have 24 hours to post moves that made them compliant. Another trade(s) or drop(s).

If they failed to do so within 24 hours, I thought then they were penalized.

That's why the thought of an invalid trade never crossed my mind, and I posted corresponding moves.

Guess I misunderstood the rules, but I've seen guys make trades that put them over the roster limit before, I've even done it myself.

Again I misunderstood I guess and got caught up in a bit of a mess. Nothing I can't handle.

Which is why I only do Hockey........other than the no brainer football deal I got in to here. So glad I didn't have to draft, I was put on auto draft which was perfect.
