Mark Giordano is a Top 5 defenseman.

Both positions are difficult to come by in this league. Given their very inexpensive contracts and compounded by the fact Arizona has few other assets I cannot see how this deal as is even with the inclusion of John Gaudreau could be proper compensation for Lundqvist and Giordano.

It is not a fair market offer whatsoever.

And for the record I turned Ottawa from a last place team into the Presidents' Trophy winner in one season.

I  as well. I am on my cell phone right now, so I cannot find and link you to the trade, but I would look up the deal between myself and papps to get a good gauge on how much you should get for lundqvist. I paid a lot to obtain bob.

At the end if the 2 teams still want to move fwd we will not stop this deal. I've received a few PMs and know how everyone feels.

Bob had a higher price tag because he is 7 years younger than Lundqvist.  If he was still in his 20's it would mean a higher tag but approaching 34 needs to be factored in the value.

Lundqvist a superstar?  Maybe.  He has been great for a while.  I do know he was the 19th ranked goalie last year.  19th.  I'm paying for what he is going to from here on, not for what he did the last 8 years.

Giordano is a top 5 defenseman?  Really?  He was the 22nd ranked D this year. 13th the year before.  C'mon man.

I respect peoples opinions and I don't mind the vetoes because I understand some peoples reasoning but I think its kinda funny because I'm hating how much I have to give up.  I think the first deal we had was fine and I feel I'm forced to give up more than I want to in this current deal.  Its all in how the deal is looked at.

blkhwkfn and I are very happy with our returns.  He is trying to get a more well rounded lineup and I'm trying to win now.  He has a vision for his team as I do for mine and we paid our money and should be able to manage our teams.

When 2 grown men playing in a fantasy league agree to a deal, unless they are cheating..then whats the problem?

He was #8 last year in points per game, which is pretty close to top 5. The year before, he had identical points per game, and same rank. 

The job of the TC is to evaluate based on facts and actual information, and I believe they are spot on here. Lundqvist is being sold as barely top 20 G, but in reality he is top 5. He has averaged 6.5 point per game over last 2, which easily puts him as a top 5 talent.

Points per game don't mean squat if players don't stay healthy.  Some stay more healthy than others. We don't rank extension values on points per game so its an irrelevant stat. We go by where they finish overall for value.
