This player has just reached 40 games and not yet exceed it, Pigs usually posts the 24 promotion thread for the GM. So I think :LAK: still has time to sign Sven

Players that have played in 40 NHL games over three years are NO LONGER eligible for the MiLR.  As soon as a player on the MiLR has exceeded this limit, they must immediately be signed and moved to the 30-man roster or released.  Players on the MiLR may be traded, and the acquiring team can sign them to a contract and place them on the 30-man roster or add them to their MiLR and sign them at a later time.

izaman3 is correct. at the time of this thread's creation the player had only played 40 games and had not exceeded. once exceeded, we have to post a 24hr notice and if not signed within that time, the player becomes a free agent.

I'm thinking Cho34 will not sign since he's been absent the last little while.
