Carolina sends:

James Reimer, $3.3m (2019-20)

Chicago sends:

:CHI-NHL: Round 4 2019 (Ilya Konovalov)

Simple deal, I add an overpriced backup to be my 3rd goalie but on a 1 year contract it's not too bad.

Carolina accepts. I was looking to add another pick. Reimer is a nice wildcard and we saw Carolina make a run to the EC finals with backups last year. It's hard to project, but the defense is solid in front of whoever is in G.

This is in-line with recent goalie prices lately. Lots of good prospects still available for Carolina.

Other thoughts from league members? This pick is currently up right now.
