4 years later... I won the chip. Playing by "their" rules. Bush League rules. I thought were dated. I couldn't stand all the committees. Took a last place team i hated. In a league I did not agree how it was scored or run. And won the Crap. Because its not ever about the team to get. Its always about the team YOU BUILD. You can inherit the greatest team of all time. If you stink, so will they. It works both ways.
As a GM. You take over an organization. You love it up. You make it a winner. My BlueJays were a last place team. Im a Phillies fan. The BlueJays beat us in the WS. Joe Carter. I hate them. But that was the team available.
I cant make them drink. Franchise swaps are allowed. Mostly for fandom. Some guys may want the hometown team. But as for the teams themselves. A GM takes over a team in real life. Often times "its a bad team" its why he or she got the job in the first place.
