C Kirby Dach, $m (P-n/a)

:CHI-NHL: receives:

D Kris Letang, $5m (2020-2021)
G Anton Khudobin, $2.5m (2020-2021)
RW Dustin Brown, $2m (2019-2020)
$7m this year

:COL-NHL: agrees to this deal. I'm trying to "re-tool" my roster without doing a complete rebuild. Letang is tough to move but is expensive and getting older and we all know my cap situation next year. Khub and Brown are nice pieces, but minor in my opinion. Dach gives me a top-tier prospect that should help me out now and continue to grow.

I didn't think I'd actually come to trade Dach, but Letang is elite, that and getting a producing goalie after the Ullmark injury was the key for me. I think Letang has enough good years left to make this worth it. Making a strong push this year and figuring out my future cap later.
