As we prepare for the end of the regular season and the start of the 2020 PLAYOFFS here in Franchise NHL, I'm happy to announce FNHL Carolina Hurricanes have been purchased by a bigtime hockey enthusiast, 99WildThing (http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?action=profile;u=8200). He's has been asking to buy into Franchise NHL for the last 3 weeks since he discovered it. He wants the challenge of a cap league, and FNHL is the best d@mn hockey $$:money: cap league on the planet! :winner: There just happened to be an opportunity when the previous owner wanted to focus on life and asked to put the for sale sign on his franchise. 99WildThing wasted little time, that's for sure!
:CAR-NHL: Hurricanes have solid goaltending with Bob and star power with the likes of Aho, Stone, Wilson, Silfverberg, Nurse and Hamilton but the MiLR is somewhat bare for a contending team.
FYI, 99WildThing can rename their minor league team if the decide to do so. Ideally you choose a nickname with an associated logo that we can find on this site.
As we like to say in FNHL, Have fun & try to win our money! :win::money::win:

We are truly sorry to see Halo exit Franchise NHL. He put together a great team and was competitive from the get go. Life gets busy sometimes and we can’t make enough time for fantasy GM’ing.
You’re welcome anytime Halo99! :toast:

Thanks guys. I'm just glad this is a trading league and teams were interested in getting deals done quickly on deadline day. Nothing worse than getting a team and feeling like it still belongs to the other guy.
Been in fantasy hockey for close to 20 years. Seen to rise and fall of sites like sportsline and yahoo. ESPN had a decent fantasy set-up but the guys there weren't all that competitive. Started with Roto then got tired of it and focused on H2H. Have been searching for a good salary cap league and found one but it folded after three seasons.
I'm a guy who likes drafts, prospects, hockey overall with no real fav team though the Atlanta Thrashers were of interest because an exGF worked for them and went to lots of games but that was a while back.
Overall glad to be here. Hope to make my Carolina franchise a Championship team.

Welcome to Franchise NHL, 99WildThing.
As others have said, you have purchased a fine franchise in the Carolina Hurricanes. If you are ready to talk trade in the off-season, feel free to contact us in Chicago.
