confirms this deal.  When I acquired Fisher this off-season, I had zero intentions of keeping him.  He is still putting up great numbers, but a little too old for my rebuild.  Palmieri is a little tough to move, but I think his value took a big hit with his trade to the Devils. 

I get a proven player in Stepan, and get him at a much better age than Fisher.  I also get the upgrade in picks.
