1. I HATE losing Henrique, but I'm desperate for a big time defenseman. And I also believe even though he is young, I may be selling Henrique at or close to his peak value.

2. Seabrook is a stud on one of, if not the best, offensive teams in the league.

3. I'm not real high on Johansson, and Stempniak should be an upgrade for next year, especially if he is back with Pittsburgh.

Thank you Anthony for the deal. This was a deal in the making for 2+ weeks. I believe we both got what we wanted though!

confirms this deal. I hate losing Murray, but Johnson was really overpaid this year. He is having a great playoff series, but his numbers were down big time this year. Koivu I would have liked to re-sign, but his extension was just too pricey. So all in all, I probably overpaid a bit for Halak, but I wanted another goalie. Halak is a risk, but could land in a great spot. Thanks Gilly for the deal as always!
